Adult Tennis
Our adult programme has something for everyone regardless of age and ability. Whether you are a beginner or a vet we have a coaching session that will suit your needs.
All coaching sessions, matchplay and cardio tennis classes are available to non-members as well as members and can be booked up to 7 days in advance.

Cardio Tennis
Cardio Tennis is a fun, sociable group fitness class set on a tennis court and open to people of all ages and abilities. Your 60 minute class will consist of a short warm up and cool down either side of a 40 minute full body workout. The aerobic section will let you hit loads of shots all mixed with a variety of fitness activities. The tennis section will put your shots into practice with fun tennis games. You’ll never play one-on-one; your team mates will be with you all the way.
Beginners Coaching
Whether you are completely new to the game or have been away from tennis for a while this class is the perfect opportunity to learn or brush up on the basics in a fun and relaxed environment. Your coach will teach you the fundamentals of how to serve, rally and develop your shots as well as helping you understand the rules of the game.
Advanced Coaching
Our Adult Advanced class caters for the players who are playing within Gents Teams 1, 2 & 3 and Ladies Teams 1 & 2. This advanced class will offer more drills with detailed technical and tactical input from the coach.
Coaching Clinic
A weekly 2 hour session working on tactical themes within the game of singles and doubles. Coaches will be on hand to help with technical issues to help you develop key tactical skills to build your game on a match court.
Men’s Practice – Members Only
Tuesday evening starts with a coach led session with Head Coach Colin followed by an hour of matchplay on a rotation basis. This allows members to play with and against different players and is a great way to participate in social matches and friendly competition.
Ladies Practice – Members Only
Wednesday evening starts with a coach led session with Head Coach Colin followed by an hour of matchplay on a rotation basis. This allows members to play with and against different players and is a great way to participate in social matches and friendly competition.
Monday Morning – Mixed Matchplay
Open to non-members as well as members, this mixed Matchplay allows players to play on rotation basis, allowing them to play with and against different players. This is a great way to participate in social matches and friendly competition.
