Mini Tennis

Tennis classes at the levels below are available 7 days a week at Prestwick (subject to availability) from 4-7pm Monday to Friday, from 8.30am on Saturday & from 10am on a Sunday.   Classes are organised by age & ability, for more information please contact Janice Rogerson, either by calling 01292 474700 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. As well as classes at Prestwick we have Outreach locations at both Alloway and Forehill Primaries. 

Prestwick Classes

Mini Tennis Red is for 5-8 years old is played on a smaller court with a small racket and either a sponge or mini red tennis ball. It's just like the real thing giving you the chance to have long rally and lots of fun.

Cost per class  £4.70 member/ £5.70 non member per hour.

Mini Tennis Orange is for children aged 9 who have moved on to the larger court with the orange lines making the court slightly smaller than the full court. With the orange ball and a bigger racket this will help players develop their shots & provide fun competition.

Cost per class £5.70 member/ £6.70 non member per hour.

Mini Tennis Green is the next step for children aged 10 who have moved on to the full tennis court with the softer green ball & bigger racket. It's the last stage of mini tennis before moving to the full ball & will help players work on & improve all aspects of their game.

Cost per class £5.70 member / £6.70 non member per hour.
